Ecofly BSF Protein is a high quality protein source for fish and pets. BSF protein is characterized by a high biological value and excellent digestibility. BSF-Protein contains no antinutritive properties and has a particularly low allergenic potential. These properties make BSF protein extremely suitable for aquaculture feeds and highly interesting as a protein source for pets with protein intolerances.

The left overs of our process are no waste at all! The residue susbtrate is a great fertilizer for gardening or vegetable farming. The nutritives in the substrate have been enzymatically cracked by our larvaes gut bacteria and show a very high availability for plants. BSF-fertilizer is sustainably produced, organic and can be used for a huge variety of plants.

BSF oil is a side product of the defattening process. It resembles the composition of palm oil and can therefore be used as a sustainable palm oil substitute in cosmetic products and soaps. The oil is also suitable as an energy source in feed for livestock and pets as well.

Whole dried BSF-larvae are produced by drying the fresh BSF-larvae in a very gentle way in order to preserve their natural shape. They can be used as feed for birds, wild animals or ornamental fish. Whole dried BSF-larve are also an excellent feed component for mixed feed stuffs.

BSF-breeding in a large scale can be complicated and frustrating. For this reason we offer freshly hatched BSF-larvae ("neonates") to any destination in Europe. We make sure that the neonates are handled with care and quantify them for you. If you are intersested in purchasing BSF-neonates, just leave us a message.
